Ryu and Giselle

Today was our first Books and Baked Goods reading day. Ryu is an 8-year old boy who speaks Japanese and is waiting for his mentor. Giselle just graduated from college and has volunteered with Camp Kesem in the past. This was a perfect match. They read Captain Underpants and the Attack of the Talking Toilets and enjoyed chocolate chip oatmeal cookies. They plan to read again next Sunday to see what happens in the story. According to Ryu's mom, he is "sipping milk and listening to Giselle like a CEO."
