Today was our first Books and Baked Goods reading day. Ryu is an 8-year old boy who speaks Japanese and is waiting for his mentor. Giselle just graduated from college and has volunteered with Camp Kesem in the past. This was a perfect match. Our first fundraising campaign was a huge success!!! It was a peer-to-peer campaign in which friends and family created their own teams and it ran from June 19 through July 19.
